Dinah Sandoval is a current Rotary Peace Fellow at the University of Bradford in England. Before her studies, she worked with Root Change, a non-profit and international development lab based in Washington DC for the last four years primarily leading and operationalizing the Community Independence Initiative, a peer driven and asset based approach to empower communities to increase economic, emotional, and social resilience in Mexico, Colombia and the Philippines. At Root change, Dinah has sharpened her skills leading in-person or virtual workshops and training using highly participatory and creative facilitation methods. Dinah has also helped transform organizations into learning institutions by embedding feedback and lean experimentation.
