How did you spend Fourth of July this year? Join Citizen University — and others from across the US — in connection and reflection. You’ll have the chance to share what Independence Day looked like to you and hear from others.

This time, you get to design your gathering to match the moment. We’ve recorded a Civic Saturday you can use to create a meaningful experience — plus a Gathering Guide to help you along the way. No matter your Fourth of July plans, there’s something for everyone.
If you’re having a small family dinner, you could listen to the Civic Saturday recording while you eat (and have discussion over dessert!)
Maybe you’re attending a BBQ and could bring the music and poetry to share.
You might even listen to the readings of “civic scripture” (selections from Fredrick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony) with your colleagues and discuss at a staff meeting.
