Generative AI: Revolutionizing Work or Killing Jobs?
Location: Online
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we work, create, and communicate. From writing and art to customer service and scientific research, generative AI offers new possibilities—but also raises concerns. While some see it as a revolutionary tool that enhances productivity and innovation, others worry about job displacement, misinformation, and ethical implications.
Generative AI, by definition, is a type of artificial intelligence that can learn from and mimic large amounts of data to create content such as text, images, music, videos, code, and more, based on inputs or prompts.
At this meeting, we’ll explore our personal perspectives on generative AI and how it impacts our lives.
We’ll ask questions such as:
What excites you most about the possibilities of generative AI?
What concerns you most about its use?
How has AI already influenced the way you work, learn, or create?
If you could set one rule or guideline for how AI is used, what would it be and why?
This conversation is an opportunity to share our own views and experiences while considering the different ways AI is shaping the world around us.
Please do your best to arrive at the beginning of the meeting – once we are in breakout rooms and the conversations have started, the meeting doors close to new arrivals. The breakout rooms open (and the doors close) approximately 15 minutes after the hour.
