Helping Loved Ones Divided By Politics

Join us for a live demonstration of Braver Angels co-founder, Bill Doherty, Ph.D., an expert on the family dynamics of political difference, as he helps loved ones divided by politics learn new tools for connecting and communicating.

Bill will interview two people (couple, siblings, parent and adult child, close friends, etc.) who will demonstrate how their discussions about politics usually proceed. Bill will then coach them on a Braver Angels approach and they will repeat the conversation using these new skills. Afterwards, a “reflecting team” of two red and two blue Braver Angels will comment on what they observed and learned from the experience. The goal is to help the participating pair and the audience learn better ways to manage their political differences for the sake of their relationships. We hope it helps our country as well!
