Introduction to the Empathy Circle Facilitation Training

Center for Building a Culture of Empathy

Location: Online

Free Introduction and Orientation to Empathy Circle Facilitation Training:   Come learn and practice the Empathy Circle process for addressing challenging topics. An Empathy Circle is a structured dialogue process based on Active and Empathic Listening that effectively supports meaningful and constructive dialogue

An Empathy Circle increases mutual understanding and connection by ensuring that each person feels fully heard to their satisfaction. The practice is the most effective gateway practice for learning, practicing and deepening listening and empathy skills, as well as nurturing an empathic way of being. The practice supports team and community building, personal and emotional support, conflict mediation, creativity and innovation.

TESTIMONIALS
“This rocks!! I really enjoyed this, it was like “Ok, I’m not going to be attacked. They are actually listening. I’m not going to be afraid to bring up topics because that is what we are here for, is to talk about these hot topic buttons and to get responses.”
― Kristie M Gordon

“I felt my heart opened up to embrace the diversity and uniqueness we all bring to the table. Empathy Circle really works. “
― Nilang Gor

“I was just so happy with how smooth and comfortable it felt. It is not like those usual conversations where there is so much anger and emotion. We were actually able to talk about these issues and I just wish this could happen more in some of those smaller arenas where people are trying to have those conversations with maybe their family or friends. I wish this could be replicated more out in the country.”
