Talk to Voters about Ranked Choice Voting

Join our effort to educate more Texans about RCV by volunteering to talk with people as they leave after they vote on Tuesday, May 24. You can do this at your local polling place or another location in your area which you think will be busier. Stay for as many hours as you’d like any time polls are open, generally between 7am and 7pm. You could start with Early Voting, but you are likely to see more voters on Runoff Primary Election Day. We will provide a clipboard sign, some flyers, and a general guide on what to do. We did this on Primary Election Day on March 1 and voters who need to return to the polls to vote in a runoff should be particularly open to hearing how RCV does instant runoffs so everyone who participated in the initial election gets their vote counted without a costly return to the polls.
