2021 Conversationalist Series: Healthcare in Our Communities
Location: Online
Join Millions of Conversations and Corps54 for our June Conversationalist Series event!
We will discuss healthcare and wellness needs across urban, rural, and global communities in a panel discussion with Dr. Ted Fischer, Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Cultural Contexts of Health Initiative at Vanderbilt University, and Dr. Cherae Farmer-Dixon, Professor and Dean of the School of Dentistry at Meharry Medical College. Staying healthy comes with different challenges depending on where your community is located. Our speakers will share their respective experiences working towards solutions to these issues, while discussing best practices for expanding equitable access to healthcare.
This event is designed to be interactive, and will give participants the opportunity to explore equitable solutions to healthcare needs, while providing lessons for dialogue from the #PledgeToListen.
