Speaker Bio

Swarupa is an Indian qualified lawyer with 5 years’ experience in contract reviewing, dispute resolution and advisory. She is currently based out of New Haven, Connecticut and works as a consultant for startups. She has a dual LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement from the National University of Singapore, University of Geneva and The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She is also a trained mediator. In the past she has advised clients on trade and customs laws, statutory compliances. She has also represented companies before the High Courts, Tax Tribunals and Arbitration Tribunals. Her expertise comes from her experiences working with law firms and as an in-house counsel. She has completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.
