AP Connect– Unthinkable: A Conversation With Congressman Jamie Raskin

What to expect:
Rep. Jaime Raskin will discuss his book Unthinkable: Trauma, Truth, and the Trials of American Democracy, describing the 45-day period in 2020 when he lost his son to suicide and, a week later, faced down an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol with his daughter by his side.
He will share how these experiences have reinforced the need to protect our democracy through structural and civic healing and reform.
He will publicly and frankly discuss how current crises are affecting the mental health of many Americans, especially young people.
