How to Remedy “Advocacy Apathy”

Motivating advocates can be extremely challenging. Through the media, Internet, even Hollywood, citizens are bombarded with the message that their voices don’t make a difference in our democracy. Moreover, some grassroots networks are just worn out – either because previous efforts have been unsuccessful or the legislative process grinds too slowly. This presentation will provide advocacy leaders with tools and strategies for working with grassroots advocates.
