Politics 101: Everything You’ve Wanted to Know but Were Afraid to Ask

USC Center for the Political Future

Location: Online

Join our expert panelists to discuss YOUR questions about American politics. Get honest, fact-based, no-judgement responses from our impressive panelists.

What’s the difference between Republicans and Democrats? How does a recall work? Why are elections so expensive? Why are most people in Congress old white men? What exactly is a filibuster? Why is the House so different from the Senate? Our panelists will be joined by students from the POSC 395 Internship course and the Trojan representatives of the campus organizations Unruh Associates and VoteSC.

Featuring:

Danielle Cendejas – Senior Vice President, The Strategy Group
Serapia Kim – Central Area Representative for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti
The discussion will be live on The Center for the Political Future’s Facebook page and later on YouTube.
