Our immersive virtual workshop is designed to invite participants into discovering their listening blocks and navigating difficult conversations. Using our award- winning documentary film List(e)n which brings people with opposing viewpoints on some of our most divisive issues – guns, abortion and immigration — to listen to each other. The documentary features participants whose personal lives deeply intertwine with the topics, including one of the survivors of the Parkland, FL school shooting. We guide participants in empathic listening, providing tools to nurture heart- centered dialogue.
Participants of this workshop will be sent the documentary, to watch prior to this session. List(e)n producer, director Juliana Tafur will guide us through exploring and sharing our experiences of watching the film and identify our listening blocks as well and build some skills to move toward more courageous listening.
Our workshop has already impacted thousands of participants at top corporations, nonprofits and academic institutions, providing tools to nurture heart-centered dialogue. Overall impact from recent workshop sessions is currently rated at 9.8/10 and self-assessed comfort level with having difficult conversations increased from 6.53/10 pre-workshop, to 8.06/10 after day 1, and 8.20/10 after day 2.
