Los Angeles Mayoral Debate

The USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future, FOX 11 LA, and the Los Angeles Times are co-hosting a debate with leading Los Angeles mayoral candidates at Bovard Auditorium on the USC University Park Campus. 

The top five LA mayoral candidates, as determined by a UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll co-sponsored and published by the LA Times in February, are confirmed to participate in the debate. Those candidates are Karen Bass, Joe Buscaino, Rick Caruso, Kevin de Leon, and Mike Feuer. 

The debate will be co-moderated by Elex Michaelson, FOX 11 News Co-Anchor and host of California’s statewide political talk show “The Issue Is,” and Los Angeles Times columnist Erika D. Smith.

The debate will air live and commercial free on FOX 11 television on March 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will also be streamed on social media by FOX 11, the Los Angeles Times, and the USC Center for the Political Future. KPCC 89.3 will host the radio broadcast. 

Tickets are available by invitation only for guests of the USC Center for the Political Future, FOX 11 LA, and the Los Angeles Times.
