Love Your Block Webinar

The August 9 deadline is approaching fast for our Love Your Block grant opportunity! If you have questions about the program or the application process, join us for an informational webinar on July 28 at 3:00pm EST.

Love Your Block brings city leaders and residents together to build stronger neighborhoods, one block at a time. Through the program, cities award mini-grants to residents and community partners to reduce blight and spur neighborhood-driven change.

All U.S. cities with a population of 30,000 or more are eligible for the program. Eight cities will be selected to receive a $100,000 grant over two years, which will support resident-led efforts to fight blight and fund a Love Your Block Fellow drawn from the community, as well as up to two AmeriCorps VISTA members and technical assistance from expert Cities of Service staff. The AmeriCorps VISTA member(s) and Love Your Block Fellow will serve in city hall to build capacity for resident engagement.

Cities that are not already members of our coalition will be asked to join during the application process. To join, simply have your chief executive sign our Declaration of Service.
