National Screening of The Abortion Talks
Location: Online
Join individuals across the country as we open National Week of Conversation 2023 with the screening of The Abortion Talks.
The Abortion Talks follows the the aftermath of John Salvi’s murder spree at two Brookline, Massachusetts abortion clinics—and the story of six women, all of them leaders in the pro-life and pro-choice movements, who sought to ensure that it would never happen again, and for whom these dialogues forever changed how they spoke to and about each other.
While the film is titled “The Abortion Talks,” its relevance is far more expansive. It suggests that people can bring both their passion for issues and their curiosity for others into difficult conversations to advance real change in their communities.
