Join us for an evening of intergenerational bridge building during the National Week of Conversation.  Local university students and older Kansas Citians will be matched up for dialogues about our generations and what we can learn from each other. We will strive to listen first as we experience the #ListenFirst mission of :
 •    Inspiring hope and desire to connect and understand.
•    Equipping Americans with skills, opportunities, and courage to build bridges across divides.
•    Normalizing listening to understand, extending grace, and seeking common interests.

If you would like to be a part of the conversation, please register for the event using the link below.  Registration is limited.  If you have any questions, please contact Jenny Garmon (jennygarmon@kclibrary.org).

This evening is brought to you by American Public Square’s Civic Education Initiative, Consensus KC, the Kansas City Public Library, and student leaders of William Jewell College.
