NCoC Learning Circle: National Week of Conversation

National Conference on Citizenship

Location: Online

In an increasingly polarized world, conversations across barriers and differences are incredibly important. On April 21 & 23, thousands of Americans will engage in America Talks, a large-scale online conversation event conducted with over 190 bridging and cross-sector partners, sponsorship from Walmart, Microsoft, The Fetzer Institute and more, and lead media partners USA TODAY, Google Initiative and others. On Tuesday, April 26th, as part of the National Week of Conversation, dialogue and conversation experts will join us to break down key findings and challenges to discussing public issues in America. How can we most effectively communicate with people of different backgrounds and perspectives? How can we work together across differences to address public issues? Through this event, we hope to answer these questions and more. Our speakers include: Mizell Stewart, USA TODAY Sharif Azami, The Fetzer Institute Pearce Godwin, Listen First Project Brandyn Keating, YOUnify
