New Frontiers for Education Reform?

USC Center for the Political Future

Location: Both

The USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future invites you to join a conversation entitled “New Frontiers for Education Reform?” discussing education reform and policy on Wednesday, March 20 in the University Club Scriptorium. Lunch service will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the discussion will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

This event, moderated by CPF Director Bob Shrum, features a panel of experts to be announced in March. The discussion will focus on the politics of public education, the role of parental rights, why some public schools are failing, what makes some charter schools successful when others struggle, whether or not taxpayer funds should be used to provide vouchers to parents who send students to private schools or home school, and which educational reforms should be supported, studied, or rejected.

We thank Sue and Jeff White for their support and generosity as this event would not be possible without them. CPF also thanks our partners the USC Rossier School of Education, the USC Price Center for Inclusive Democracy, the USC Political Union, and the Political Student Assembly for their help in advertising this event.
