Pull Up a Chair at The AntiRacist Table
On the heels of a global pandemic and racial reckoning, the likes of which America has not seen since the Civil Rights era, we are as a Nation, continuing to struggle with difficult issues around race.
It comes as no surprise–Americans are, after all, socialized to talk about everything EXCEPT race. Yet, to truly create the just world we all want, we have to have difficult conversations and speak up when we see injustice.
As we come together to commit to bridging differences and cultivating connections, the first place to start is with those in your circle. Where you work, live, and worship. Not sure how to bring up race or what to say when you hear something offensive such as a stereotype or a microaggression? In this discussion, you’ll learn how to approach those with differing views so you can bridge the gap and learn how to integrate AntiRacism into your daily life—and teach others how, too. We’ll give you practical tools for starting tough conversations, for responding to stereotypes and microaggressions, and most importantly, for staying in dialogue.
Be a changemaker and everyday hero today!
