Reducing Gun Violence Deliberation
Location: Online
Here in the United States, we are experiencing a crisis of violence. Guns are now the leading cause of premature death for American children, teens, and young adults. Preventing death, disability and injury from gun violence requires an approach that involves data collection and surveillance, research to understand which policies and programs are most effective, initiatives and measures that are proven successful, and continued evaluation.
Deliberations.US is bringing thousands of Americans together—people like you— for a national conversation to really talk about Gun Violence, learn more about it, what contributes to it, and to talk through actions that we can take to reduce it…now!
This conversation brings together people from across the country with a wide range of perspectives – everyone is invited to participate! You’ll be connected with a small group to share your thoughts and learn from others. This means everyday citizens, students, educators, policy makers, law enforcement, manufacturers, and industry professionals, are all welcome and encouraged to join.
