Social Media & Political Tribalism

North Carolina Campus Compact and the Braver Angels Alliance of Central NC are hosting a live public forum featuring national expert, and Duke University professor, Chris Bail of The Polarization Lab. Dr. Bail will be interviewed by former news anchor and media consultant Rob Boisvert. During this public forum, we will examine how technology shapes political tribalism and what can be done to diminish it. 

Hear Professor Bail’s surprising, research-driven insights on what is causing polarization and how we can work together to overcome it. You will also learn about tools such as “Check my Echo,” and the “Bipartisan Leaderboard.”
