SLSV Deep Dive: Campus Vote Project’s Legacy Initiative Insight’s Brief

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) have a rich legacy of student voter participation, and we have two upcoming opportunities that will ensure that SLSV Coalition partners build upon this deep history of democratic engagement.

When organizing and partnering with HBCUs, it’s imperative that nonprofit organizations ensure they’re centering HBCU student voices and equitably addressing issues. An upcoming conversation, led by Campus Vote Project’s Dylan Sellers, takes a deep dive into the critical lessons learned from Campus Vote Project’s Legacy Initiative Insights Brief and will provide tangible steps and tools to engage with HBCU students and administrators in a meaningful way that brings values to the institution and their community.
