If you want to participate in civic life in Tallahassee but aren’t interested in preparing a three-minute speech for a commission meeting, what options do you have? At the annual Tallahassee Town Hall, citizens have a rare opportunity to talk informally with both Leon County and City of Tallahassee Commissioners.
“OUR TOWN: Tallahassee Town Hall” will be moderated by the Tallahassee Democrat’s former publisher Skip Foster. The program pairs commissioners from both the city and the county for a cross-governmental discussion about where Tallahassee is as a community, where we’re going, and what challenges we face in getting there.
The program also will be livestreamed at wfsu.org/live and Facebook Live at facebook.com/WFSUMedia.
Partnering to offer you this program are Village Square, WFSU Public Media, Leadership Tallahassee, and the Tallahassee Democrat, with support from Leon County Government and the City of Tallahassee.
