The Music of Our Lives: An Intergenerational Dialogue

Hosted by the students of the Bay College Civics Corps, an intergenerational panel will discuss memories tied to the music they listened to during their formative years, using a form of historic memory dialog.  Panelists will share about: the type of music and songs they interacted with growing up, the various forces that shaped their musical preferences, how music/specific songs related to larger societal contexts, and the legacy of that music in their lives today.  After the panel discussion, dialogue will open for audience participation.  Attendees from across the country welcome!
