Time to Vote: Driving Employee Civic Engagement in 2022
Employee civic engagement can be an effective barometer of an energized workforce and culture, and businesses can play an active role in enabling a culture of voting in the workforce. And yet, no employee should have to choose between voting and earning a paycheck. The Time to Vote project continues to mobilize businesses to help more Americans to vote in 2022, while also contributing to the national culture shift needed to increase voter participation.
Voter turnout in the U.S. is one of the lowest in the developed world. One of the most common reasons people give for not voting is that they’re too busy with the demands of work and life.
Launched in 2018, Time to Vote (TTV) is a national, nonpartisan initiative for companies who want to ensure their employees can vote. Today, nearly two thousand companies have joined the effort and we want to keep up the momentum to ensure the highest turnout in midterms election history.
Time to Vote is…

On April 28th, hear from Pepsico, Hims & Hers, Legacy Vacation Resorts, PayPal, and Patagonia about why the business community cares about voter participation, how Time to Vote works, what different companies did in 2020, and how your company can join. You will learn how your company’s participation will boost employee and community relations, generate earned media, enhance your reputation as a civic leader, and support our representative democracy.
Time to Vote demonstrates the power of what the business community can achieve when it works to address the most significant issues of our time. Business for America, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is supporting the Time to Vote initiative as part of its commitment to engage companies to improve civic health in our country.
