TRUST Network Monthly Stakeholders’ Meeting

October’s stakeholder meeting will feature a presentation by Team Democracy.

This timely, relevant presentation will cover the following:

• Deepening polarization and increasing acceptance of political violence as a means of overturning election results are not just a threat to our democratic institutions and norms; they also represent an existential threat to our democratic republic.
• Countering polarization requires that we find and affirm important areas of common ground, where what unites us is more important than what divides us.
• Team Democracy’s Safe and Fair Elections Pledge articulates the important common ground that most Americans already share … a desire for elections that are safe, secure, and inclusive; and the peaceful transfer of power no matter who wins.
