Brown Masingati is a social worker from Malawi and a member of MBBI with 7 years practical experience on the ground. Brown is an ambitious, result oriented professional whose goal is to use the knowledge he has acquired through experience in non-profit charity organizations and research institutions for the benefit of the people he serves and the nation at large. He has garnered considerable progressive experience and inspiration from a number of positions he has held thus far including Research Assistant, Community and Nutrition Coordinator, Community Conflict and mediator officer, Child Protection Officer, Community Development officer. Among organizations he has worked for are World Vision Malawi, Partners in Action for Sustainable Development, Centre for Social research of the University of Malawi, ICAP Malawi under MPHIA.  

He possesses Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Zomba Theological College short courses include Certificate in Child Justice, HIV/AIDS Counselling Management, Conflict Resolution and Mediation, and Community Empowerment and recently Geospatial Data for Disaster Risk Management from Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). 

Brown is a man of dynamic skills including decision making, organization, analytical, leadership, communication, interpersonal as well as conflict resolution and mitigation skills. He has also been involved in developing of a load map to guide effective delivery of psychosocial support and Gender Based Violence and Drug and Substance abuse in Malawi.  

His vision is to see Women girls and vulnerable members protected and recognized in the society.

In his free time Brown likes conducting research, civic writing on matters that affect the vulnerable groups in Malawi. He is married to Christina and together have a daughter Carol Masingati.
