Moffa was lead analyst for multiple successful espionage and economic espionage prosecutions, receiving the Excellence in Counterintelligence for Insider Threat Award from the Director of National Intelligence and a Meritorious Service Award from the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. Moffa held multiple FBI intelligence management roles before being appointed to the Senior Executive Service (SES) as Section Chief of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Analysis Section.
