Independent Party of Oregon

The Independent Party is Oregon’s third largest party, with over 140,000 members. It empowers informed voters who don’t feel well represented by the Democratic or Republican parties. We work to: 1. Oppose spending on inefficient government programs. 2. Reduce special interest and “big money” influence over all government processes. 3. Increase transparency in government, especially on how our tax dollars are spent. 4. Improve education and job training opportunities for Oregonians. 5. Provide cost-effective incentives for business creation and expansion in Oregon.
