Junior State of America empowers high school students to engage in politics, citizenship, and civic life through hands-on programs. Based in Oakland, CA, the organization operates more than 300 chapters across 20 states and seven U.S. territories. Founded in 1934, JSA provides non-partisan civic education that respects diverse viewpoints and prepares the next generation of American leaders.
