Building civic engagement by providing people with tangible ways to “get to know” their local government.
Know Your Local was founded on the premise that change starts small and it starts local. Even though trust in government is at a record low, people trust their local government the most. Let’s build on this and help individuals engage with their local government and effect change in their communities. The Know Your Local Pledge asks people to commit to one action item (big or small) to get to know their local government.
