About Organization
The National Parents Union brings together an intersectional coalition of families from all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico to advocate for educational policy reform. The organization centers the voices of parents of color, low-income families, parents of children with special needs, LGBTQAI parents, and other traditionally underrepresented groups. Working with over 200 affiliate organizations nationwide, they develop inclusive narratives and disrupt traditional family roles in education policy spaces.
