While political polarization is running rampant, members of CPL are reaching across the expanse and talking to their political others. It’s easy to do when guided by a skilled moderator, but what about at other times? Too often we find ourselves walking on eggshells or starting a conversation, only to see it devolve into an argument. It’s time to ask ourselves what it will really take to become a nation that leverages our diversity of thought to solve our biggest problems.

For this meeting, come prepared to share any other “bridging” activities you are involved in, and why. Maybe you’re attending Braver Angels events, or setting up your own conversations outside of CPL. What success have you had in getting along with your political others? What challenges do you face? Come to discuss, share, and listen to others ideas on the topic.
