Gun Ownership: Your Views

Gun ownership is an especially divisive topic in America that often branches off into a variety of other discussions on public safety and personal rights. We hear seemingly partisan phrases like gun control and the right to bear arms in response to media coverage of gun violence. And while these events may further influence our stance on gun ownership, rarely do we discuss the other motivations at the core of our views.

How have we interacted with guns over the course of our life? What motivated us to buy a gun? If you don’t have personal familiarity with guns, do you know people that do?

Join us as we share our experiences that have shaped our views on gun ownership and have a voice in our Nation’s Conversation! People of all views are welcomed, appreciated, and heard.

Please do your best to arrive at the beginning of the meeting – once we are in breakout rooms and the conversations have started, the meeting doors close to new arrivals. The breakout rooms open (and the doors close) approximately 15 minutes after the hour.
