“Together We Thrive!” Challenge

For this year’s National Week of Conversation 2024 (NWOC), which runs from April 15 through April 21, Crossing Party Lines has designed a 7-day challenge. This challenge takes you on a quick survey of the options available to you for getting more involved in reducing toxic polarization and learning to Disagree Better. As we at CPL know, there’s nothing wrong with disagreeing. We just need to remind ourselves how to disagree without making the other person our enemy — without it contributing to toxic polarization.

This challenge is designed to inspire you to feel more hopeful, curious, respectful and appreciative of the people around you. In other words, to support happiness and belonging. The activities for each of the 7 days vary from watching a video or checking out a few websites to interacting with a chatbot. None of the activities should take you more than 10 minutes to complete.

The first fifty people to complete this challenge will win a prize!
