Video Night: The Truth About Being Right

For many people, the whole point of talking politics is to set others straight: Telling them what we know so they will see the light and come to view things the way we do.

Most of us are pretty certain about our views, convinced we are right. But are we? Where does our certainty come from? How can we know we are right? And how does our belief in the correctness of our views impact our ability to truly cross party lines?

This meetup will deviate from our standard conversation format. The moderators will show three short videos that explore some aspects of these questions, opening the floor for discussion between and after them.
So, butter your popcorn, get comfy in your chair, and settle in as we watch and talk, exploring the truth about being right.
